Casanova is presented as a series of self portraits that portray his great loves.

FW 24 Knight
Salon 1884’s Fall Winter 2024 collection portrays a modern day Joan of Arc, envisioned through the lens of self-portrait artist and designer, Andrea Mary Marshall.
Inspired by the Parisian power dressing born of designers Azzedine Alaïa, Claude Montana and artist Jean Paul Goude; this season’s silhouette embodies strength and vulnerability. Structured suiting, hooded knitwear, and leather sheaths provide protection, while ultra violet silk jersey, strapless necklines, and dramatic flared hems express fearlessness. Just as Joan of Arc wore men’s armor into battle,the modern heroine suits up to show up.
PF 25 Lady
Salon 1884’s Pre Fall ‘24 collection presents an empowered view on femininity inspired by Robert Mapplethorpe’s portraits of the champion bodybuilder Lisa Lyon. Mapplethorpe’s portrayal of Lyon blurs the line between feminine and masculine. Classic silhouettes with fetish undertones are reminiscent of the post-punk icon Siouxsie Sioux’s fearless style while unembellished dresses in a monochrome color palette are influenced by Gabrielle Chanel’s childhood in the abbey of Aubazine. Chanel’s love of sportswear and desire for movement is evident in the draped wool jersey and tracksuits that allow for freedom and confidence. This season is strong and sensual; quiet and bold; polished and punk.
SS 24 New Romance
Salon 1884’s Spring Summer collection takes its inspiration from 1980’s avant-garde Japanese design and the British New Romantics. Deconstructed silhouettes combine with tailored power dressing to feel both nuanced and bold. This season’s color palette is muted with materials ranging from luxe silk, plaid suiting and fine linen to patent leather accessories.
